The project
Created for installation on 2,550 mm width walking-floors, Over-Quick has been redesigned ad hoc for Arduin, for use on grain-transport tankers.
The challenge
- Overcoming the construction constraints caused by the tanker structure:
- rounded shape of the tank;
- width of the loading hopper significantly narrower than a walking-floor.
- Provide an upper inspection walkway for the operator.
The solution
Over-Quick tanker retrofit. Compared to a traditional solution, the components of the tarpaulin system are not mounted directly on the edge of the container, but instead are mounted on a support structure made in compliance with the maximum dimensions allowed by the transportation regulations. In order to adapt the system to the width of the container and loading hopper, a custom front rail was designed and the timing of the control unit operation was reduced. A walkway of approximately 40 cm was also provided at the side of the support structure to allow the operator to inspect the load from above.

Patented technology
Over-Quick is a tarpaulin system patented by Cramaro. The tarpaulin, made of PVC with technical fabric reinforcements, laterally covers the container in less than 30 seconds using a system of air chambers.
